Entry Rules: Japan Collection Giveaway
Hi there! It is important you read carefully so you understand all the details of this giveaway including:
- When the deadline is to enter by
- How to submit a qualifying entry
- How the winner is selected
With so many scammers on YouTube, this giveaway will be using a Google Form instead. In the past, entries were done through comments, but since scammers pretending to be me respond to everyone's comments trying to get private information or trick them into sending them money, a Google Form is a closed loop without that risk.
Entry Deadline
The deadline to submit an entry is by 11:59 p.m. EST (Toronto Time), on Sunday, June 23rd, 2024. The Google Form is automatically set to expire at that time which means if you click the entry link (down below after you finish reading), and are greeted with this text👇 the deadline has already passed:
How to Enter
After reading this page, click the link to the Google Form near the bottom of the page and follow the instructions. Remember: it is your responsibility to spell your details correctly so we can get in touch with you if you're the winner.
🚨 Don't Get Disqualified!
Once the deadline closes, it'll tie into Google Sheets in our backend and flag any duplicate entries. Those will all be deleted. In other words, one entry per person.
Winner Selection
Samara will use Random.org to draw the winner. Basically Google Forms will tabulate the total number of entrants. If, for example, 100 people enter, Samara will go to Random.org and have it choose a number from 1 to 100. Your entry number will be based on when you entered. The first person to enter will be 1, and the last person to enter before the deadline will be the biggest number.
Winner Notification
The winner will be notified via Email by 11:59 p.m. EST (Toronto, Canada time) on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024).
Claim Deadline
The drawn winner will have exactly one week (until 11:59 p.m. EST on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024) to respond to claim the prize. If no response is received by the claim deadline, Samara will notify them that their prize claim period has expired, and will use Random.org to draw a new winner from the original list. That person would also have one week to claim the giveaway prize from when they are notified.
Shipping & Taxes
Depending on where the winner lives and their country's trade agreement with Canada, taxes, import duties, and brokerage fees may be imposed, and paying those potential costs are solely the responsibility of the winner.
